At Hire Car Mauritius, all rentals come with a "full Comprehensive insurance coverage" includes CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) and TP (Theft Protection) with a deductible or a surplus ranging from 526 to 575 Euros depending on car models or the categories. Thus, you limit your financial liability to the amount of deductible or excess. However, you will not be covered by our insurance in the event of impaired driving or gross negligence. At Hire car, it is possible to reduce the amount to half by paying an additional daily fee for your normal rental fees but is not refundable (Applies for a minimum of 7 days rental This simply means that if damages happen to your leased vehicle you will not be required to pay the entire deductible or excess you have already select to go for an additional insurance. Note that we will block half of the excess amount on your credit card. However, the supplementary insurance excludes the following: Accidental damage to windows, tires, chassis, exterior mirrors, headlights and roofs Loss of keys Loss of personal belongings Loss for extras like GPS and baby seats In cases of drunken driving

Online Booking

Booking a car with hire car Mauritius is not more than 5 minutes! Our booking machine is very simple and easy to use. Simply select details such as location, dates, and time. You will be able to see the vehicles available in real time with our best offer and detailed characteristics of each vehicle. In the last step, you must provide your details and other details before paying a deposit of 20% of the total rental price to secure your booking. The 80% must be paid upon delivery either in cash or by credit card (master card or visa card) an addition of 3% of the total amount will be a charge for any payment with credit card.

Car Rental

A person who proves his/her competence as a driver by producing a valid driver's license issued at least 2 years before the date of hire. To rent a car in Mauritius, you must be at least 21 years old. For the young driver under 25, there will be an extra charge of € 11 per day.
The minimum rental period is 6 days.
Your reservation can be made easily by our secure online booking machine, by email, phone, live chat, Skype and even with what apps. To guarantee your reservation, we require 20% of the total amount. Once the deposit is credited to our account, you will receive a booking voucher with full details by email. You can use our easy and secure online booking engine, by email, phone, and live chat or on Skype. A 25% of the total rental fee is required to confirm a booking. A reservation voucher will be sent via email after the deposit payment with all details.

We offer a fully comprehensive insurance policy including the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection (TP) on our entire vehicle with a deductible of 526 to 575 euros, depending on car model or category.
You must make an excess/deductible deposit of 526 -557 euros according to the model or category, this deposit is a refund at the end of your hiring, provided that the vehicle is returned in the same state. This can be done either in cash or by prior authorization of your credit card. Note that the excess amount of your credit card will not be debited.
In the event of an accident, an assessment is made of the damage caused. You will be asked to pay only the excess amount if the damages exceed the excess coverage as the insurance company will incur any additional costs. In cases where the damage is less than the excess amount, we will simply ask you to pay this amount.

Chauffeur Service

Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive a voucher, a reservation made via a phone, a voucher will send you by fax, and an online reservation, a voucher will be received by email.
Hire Car Mauritius ensures confirmation with a minimum notice of one-day notice advance, but we can accommodate most transfer reservation requests with a notice of fewer than 4 hours advance notice. Services must be fully prepaid
